The self help and how to markets in this country are huge. And as I am sure you know because everyone has bought either a self help of how to product at some point in their life, they all start out with a common thread. And that thread is you have to help yourself. Today I wanted to talk a little bit about that learning process since this website is about helping people succeed also. The part of the process I specifically want to speak to is the point at which you stop learning and start doing.

Now is the time to start doing. You can never start too soon. Yes you might get a few things wrong and something might get screwed up but so what. Who cares? Trust me if you get everything right on your first try then you are the first person in the history of the world. Everyone screws up and everyone gets something wrong but that is as big a part of the learning process as any other.

If you don’t have a domain name then get one today. If you don’t have hosting then set it up today. If you haven’t built your first website then get started now. Not later today or even tomorrow, stop reading this right here and do it now. If you haven’t written an article for your site then do it now. If you haven’t built a link to your site today then go get one now. Just make sure you don’t fail because you didn’t even play the game.

I would like to say that I have always been a very optimistic person and never get too worried when major crises arise in our country. But the truth is closer to: I have never felt like there was anything I could do about it so why bother to worry. All worry causes is more worry. So instead of worrying about things that I can’t control, I will do my best to control the things that I can.

Here is what I know for sure. There is only one certain way to make money online and that is to sell an actual product. Sure some out there will try to convince you that you can make a living with advertising on your site. Let’s take a quick look at what is happening with ad programs like Google’s Adsense and others. If you are an advertiser then your goal is to get the cheapest and most targeted traffic that you can get. When you are doing that you bid on keywords that will cost you the least. Say that you have a site that runs Adsense and you are displaying ads for other companies that have bid as little as .05 per click. If you are lucky then you will receive .02 and lose you visitor. In what world does it make sense to lose a visitor for 2 lousy pennies?

If you are new to internet marketing or have been around for a little while then do yourself a favor and don’t throw up a blog and think that you are going to make money. Do what marketers who have been around for a while know to be the surefire way to make money and sell a product. Most products that are sold over the internet are information products. This guide will offer you some great ideas about how to make your own products quickly and cheaply. You don’t have to re invent the wheel you just have to know where to start.

Don’t leave your future in the hands of our government and hope for the best. Take charge of your future and learn how to create products that you can sell over the internet for profit. It will cost you a whopping four dollars but it just might be the best four dollars you ever spend.
