I have my pages in photoshop finished what's my next step?
After I have a domain name registered do I simply upload files with pages cut with the splice tool? This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

First let me welcome you to the forum.

If you have your design done in photoshop, then the psd needs to be coded. I would recommend Adobe Dreamweaver for that job it makes it very easy to code a psd file into HTML. But there are a number of variables that need to be looked at. Are you going to be using a database driven website? If you are then the psd needs to be coded in PHP. You can also make a stylesheet out of it and code it for a wordpress site or another CMS system.

If those things are out of your realm then you could put out a bid on either http://forums.digitalpoint.com or look for a coder at http://rentacoder.com . Digital point will probably be the cheaper option, you can probably get it done for around 50 bucks there, maybe cheaper if you find the right person. I hope that helps.

Sorry I realized that i didn't address the entire question. After the files are coded then you will have to have hosting for your domain name, I recommend bluehost.com and then you can simply upload the finished files to the host and you will be up and running.

What is your website about? Are you selling something?

Do you have web hosting for upload your file to server? You need host to save and publish your site. Without hosting, you can not make a website.
And after you rent web hosting, you can upload your file.
